    My family & I will be traveling 7/3-7/9/2016. When will the schedules for certain activities/performances etc. become available? Also does WDW do anything special for 4th of July?

    Hi There Veronica,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you go to the entertainment page of the Walt Disney World Resort website you can choose the date that you're looking for and then search for the availability schedule for the performances/activities you are interested in. There are some performances that currently show availability during the dates of your visit. For the ones that are showing "schedule unavailable" I suggest that you keep checking the website for updates as the date of your visit gets closer. 

    The 2016 information for Fourth of July at Walt Disney World Resort has not yet been released. In the past, there have been special fireworks displays at Magic Kingdom Park (on both July 3rd and 4th), Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Epcot has had Disney characters dressed in patriotic costumes near the American Adventure in World Showcase as well as "Voices of Liberty 4th of July concert" at various times throughout the day. Disney's Hollywood Studios has also hosted a "Rockin' 4th of July Celebration!" Be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for new information and updates.
