    My family and I will be traveling from Ohio to Disney from June 13th-18th. We are awaiting any new promotions. Any idea what promotions Disney will offer for that time period? The gift card only applies through June 3rd.

    Hi Nicole! I love to see my fellow Buckeyes traveling to the most magical place on earth. May I suggest that you look into the 2010 Disney Promotion Give A Day, Get A Disney Day, which allows each family member to earn a 1-day, 1-Theme Park Ticket  for a day of volunteer service.

    Depending on your family size, one day of park tickets for a family of four is approximately $316 depending on the age of the children. The Give A Day, Get A  Disney Day will present an excellent opportunity to expose your children to the importance of giving back to your community, while saving you a couple of bucks on your vacation! I also like the notion that the kids are sort of earning part of their trip. In these difficult economic times, we owe it to our children to show them the value of our hard earned money. I also believe this opportunity for volunteerism is something that your entire family can do together. Think of how rewarding it will be to know that as a family you contributed something valuable to someone else and received the reward of Walt Disney World in return-priceless! 

    All you need to do is pre-register and sign up through this site http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/index?name=Give-A-Day-Get-A-Disney-Day  to volunteer and complete your service at an eligible volunteer opportunity.

    I have done a little research for you and found that there are many opportunities in our Buckeye State. All you have to do is enter your zip code on the website and the approved agencies will be displayed with in a 100 mile radius. Once your service is complete you enter your info on the website, your service is verified,  and you print out your voucher for your free day- before you leave for your vacation!Disney really knows how to spread magic around! Have a great vacation!
