family of 6 traveling Nov2-Nov9. our resort not in Disney.kids are 11,7,6 and 2.we will only spend 4 days in Disney.Which 3 parks and1 water park for younger kids would you recommend? Which day for each park is good?Do pay parking every time we leave park?

    Hi Riga!

Congratulations on your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World, in no time at all you will be enjoying the magic!  Trying to decide which parks to miss on a Disney vacation is a very hard choice indeed, I love all the parks for their different qualities and would be sad to miss out of any of them.

Based on your children's ages I would choose Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Blizzard Beach. Typhoon Lagoon is normally my first choice for water parks, but it  is actually scheduled for its annual refurbishment starting October 26 and lasting through December 21.  I didn't include Epcot because it will probably have slightly less to offer your children's different ages, but it doesn't mean that this park is not kid friendly.  For my older children, it is actually one of their favorite parks!

Here is the itinerary that I recommend for your upcoming trip:

    November 4th or 8th Blizzard Beach10am-5pm
    November 5th Hollywood Studios 9am-7pm
    November 6th Magic Kingdom 9am-9pm
    November 7th Animal Kingdom 9am-5pm

Your family will be visiting just in time for this years very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party held on November 8th. This special ticketed event is held on select nights at the Magic Kingdom and is a fantastic way to spend the evening sipping coco while watching toy soldiers march under a light snowfall.  It really is a magical way to get everyone into the holiday spirit!

The current parking fee for Walt Disney World is $15 a day and you will not need to pay if you are returning to the park on the same day.  If you need to leave the park for a little break, just show the parking attendant your parking slip when reentering the parking area.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Riga and please let me know if you need anymore advice!

    Best Wishes!
    Mandy
