Our family is traveling to Magic Kingdom for our Daughter's 6th bday. We are going as a shore excursion on a cruise, so we only have one day, about 7 hours. But I wanted to know what kind of special birthday things I could take advantage of?

    Hi Danielle!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I can't think of anywhere more perfect for a 6-year old Princess to celebrate her birthday! Disney's Magic Kingdom is going to make for a very memorable day.

One of the best ways for her to feel special is to get her an official "birthday button". If you're traveling on Disney Cruise Line, you can get one on your ship at Guest Services. If not, just ask any Cast Member at the Magic Kingdom to point you to the nearest location for a button. She can wear it and get birthday wishes all day long from Disney Cast Members, and also from other Guests in the park. It really makes you feel special and it doesn't cost a thing.

You can also have a special birthday cake delivered to a meal.  Here is a link to cake delivery information at Walt Disney World.  If you haven't already, be sure to check out this information about celebrating birthdays while on Disney Cruise Line.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions and have a very magical trip!
