Hey there, Micrita!
I am so very excited you sailed by planDisney with your question about cruising with Disney Cruise Line. If you ask me, there is no better way to explore the high seas than with Captain Mickey. Especially when staying in Disney Cruise Line’s fabulous
staterooms!
Captain Mickey has planned all his ships to make
accessibility a top priority. Most Guest areas onboard the ship are accessible, including theatres, restaurants and shops. Additionally, pool lift access can be prearranged through Special Services. Wheelchair accessible staterooms are available and feature the following: minimum 32” doorways; bathroom and shower grab bars; open bed frames; roll-in showers; emergency call alarms; fold-down shower seats; ramped bathroom thresholds; and hand-held shower heads.
After checking the various
deck plans for the Disney ships, it doesn’t look like any of them offer
connecting staterooms with an accessible stateroom on the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. But they do have connecting staterooms with an accessible room on the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. The easiest way to check availability for this combination of staterooms is to
call Disney Cruise Line or to check online using the stateroom categories you are interested in and seeing if an accessible room with adjoining doors is still available on that particular voyage.
Good luck on your quest to make connected staterooms a reality on your Disney cruise. Micrita, wishing you an amazing adventure at sea with your crew.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
