My family is traveling with another family in October and sharing a 2-bedroom villa. Right now everyone seems to be my responsibility under MDE. Can the other family purchase their own tickets and link them? Or do I have to buy all tickets?

    Hi Nicole.

As the planner for our large-group Walt Disney World Resort vacations, I understand your concern!

If you would like to relinquish some of the planning responsibility, you can! In your Family and Friends section of your My Disney Experience Account, you will find the option to "Connect through a Disney Account" by each of the Guests that you currently manage. If you click on that, you will have the opportunity to invite them to create their own account by adding their email address. They will receive an email that guides them through the process. Then, they can manage their own entitlements, and all of their plans will still be shared with and visible to you in your account. From experience, you will probably still need to give them a gentle nudge in the right direction.

Plus, Hakuna Matata, no worries! Even if everyone in your group does create their own account, you can still add theme park tickets, FastPass+ Reservations, and Advance Dining Reservations for them if you have any tech-challenged Family and Friends.

Come back and visit us with any other questions, Nicole! We are here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

Meet the Panelist: Sally, Texas

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." I am the lucky wife to my brave Prince and a stay-at-home mom to two bold and brilliant little girls; one a Jedi Padawan and the other a Princess. Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
