Hi there, Andrea!
Thanks for bringing your great question to us here at
planDisney. I bet your family is looking forward to visiting the Happiest Place on Earth! You’re going to love seeing the magic of the theme parks through your little ones’ eyes.
You are welcome to bring any type of water bottle, tumbler, hydration backpack, or insulated drink container along while you explore
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park as long as it’s not made of glass. You can also bring a small cooler that is no larger than 24 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 18 inches high. There are several drinking fountains and water bottle refill stations located throughout the parks to help you stay hydrated, which will be especially important on the warm days in Southern California! You may also request a free cup of ice water at most counter-service
dining locations.
I like to bring a small battery-operated fan into the theme parks when very warm weather is in the forecast. There are models that can be attached to a stroller, held in your hand, or even worn around your neck. Just be sure to leave it behind or stow it safely in your bag before boarding an
attraction. You might also want to consider bringing cooling towels as another way to beat the heat. My 8-year-old loved using one on our recent trip!
I hope this information is helpful and that your family’s vacation is pixie-dusted to perfection, Andrea! Do you have any more questions about the
Disneyland Resort? If so, please feel free to
write back and ask!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
