    Hi! My family is traveling to the Disneyland Resort at the end of this month. Will we be able to use the MagicBand+ that we have from Walt Disney World? Thank you!!

    I was excited because the Disney Parks Blog announced that MagicBand+ would come to the Disneyland Resort starting on October 26th, 2022. I have purchased two MagicBand+ from shopDisney, and I love them. I can't wait to use them at the Disneyland Resort! 

    I have great news for you; the MagicBand+ will work both at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. The previous generations of MagicBands from Walt Disney World, such as the original MagicBand or MagicBand 2, are incompatible with the Disneyland Resort system. Since you currently own a MagicBand+ from a past Walt Disney World vacation, you can use it for your Disneyland Resort vacation! You will have to link your MagicBand+ to the Disneyland Mobile App. The great news is that the MagicBand+ is rechargeable via a USB charging cord (included with the MagicBand+), and the MagicBand+ will work at the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort.
