My family and I will be traveling to Disney World in March during the busy spring break season. We have been at that time before and the park hours are normally much longer. Does Disney ever change the park hours a few months out? Thank you!

Hi Dana! March is typically considered spring break month but every year school districts seem to change their calendars so each year is a learning curve as to how crowded the weeks will be. We have been in March and one week will be absolutely crazy and then the next week fairly empty. It is almost given that the week before and the week after Easter will indeed be crowded.

Disney does actually study past years and current crowd predictions to determine the Park hours. You will see changes if they feel the crowds merit that. I have actually been in the park and have them announce that the park hours will be extended for that day. So yes, changes can and often are made right up to the day of a park visit. This is not done to stress the guests out but instead to allow them more time enjoying the attractions and less time in the lines.
