Hi- My family and I will be traveling to Disney World this July. My 15 year old daughter is vegan so I am trying to find information on dining options for her in the parks. I’m looking for the most up to date information because menus often change

Hello Karen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

As someone who has decreased the consumption of animal products in the past year, I am happy to share with you that I cannot think of a more inclusive destination for visitors on special diets than the Walt Disney World Resort.

Most restaurants are able to accomodate vegan diets, but don’t forget to note that your daughter is vegan on all advance dining reservations. In addition, always talk to Cast Members upon arriving at restaurants, and you may even ask to speak with the chef. If you have additional concerns, you are welcome to plan ahead by contacting the Special Diets team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com, and they will gladly assist you navigating the dining process.

You will find that most table-service and quick-service locations offer vegan options, and even favorites like Mickey waffles and pretzels can be found without animal products. Buffet restaurants also offer plant-based options, delicious ice cream can be found at many venues like L’Artisan des Glaces at Epcot, so the options are truly endless and you will need to plan more visits to try all the incredible vegan goodness! Does your daughter like pizza and burgers? Then visit Disney Springs and stop by Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza, and please try the Electric Garden Impossible Burger at The Edison. I highly recommend checking Vegan Disney Food and Vegan Disney World on Instagram. They are experts at plant-based options for vegan Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, and I always check their accounts to see what’s new!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen! I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back to visit us real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
