My family and I are traveling to Disney soon. We aren't renting a car but we are bringing my son's car seat (he is 20 months old), is there somewhere to store a convertible car seat at Disney Springs? I saw there were lockers but they seem small.

    Hi Sarah! Welcome to planDisney!

Well, let me start by saying that I relate to your pre-planning abilities with your young son! I remember planning our entire stay around which car seat to bring, how to transport it and what would be the most comfortable and logical with our little ones! The great news? Walt Disney World is well-versed in having even the littlest Guests! So, there are some options available.

Unfortunately, there is no place to store a convertible car seat at Disney Springs. However, don't let that deflate your Mickey balloon! There are still ways you can get to Disney Springs with your little one without it. Though the Disney Minnie Van™ Connected by Lyft is temporarily unavailable, ride-share services in the area do have car seat options. Uber offers cars with convertible car seats available through their app. "UberX Car Seat" will show as an option when ordering your ride. I do recommend scheduling this in advance if possible, as these options are limited. Lyft also has a similar car seat option, though it is even more limited.

Sarah, I think the easiest way to access Disney Springs with your little Jack Jack during your stay would be to utilize Walt Disney World Transportation. Depending on where you are staying, you will have some different options to transport over to Disney Springs! First, Disney Bus Transportation is available to and from Disney Springs from all Disney Resort Hotels. There are no car seats required on the buses and you'll likely be accompanied by many other families with children your son's age. At some resorts, Disney Water Transportation will also be an option! My little boy absolutely loves taking the scenic route on the water during our vacations! He thinks it's an additional ride outside of the parks! Both methods of transportation run about every 20 minutes, so you should not have a problem with pick-ups and drop-offs.

As I mentioned before, Walt Disney World loves to cater to smaller Guests! When spending time in the theme parks, be sure to check out the Baby Care Centers for all of your little one's needs. Whether you need a private space to nurse, a bottle warmer, a changing table or just a quiet place to decompress from all of the excitement, the Baby Care Centers have you covered!

I hope I've helped provide some options for your family during your stay, Sarah! Sending all the pixie-dust your way on this magical adventure!

    Ta ta for now,
