My family and I will be traveling to Disney the mid September 2012, two daughters age 7 and 9...do you recommend any character shows, dinners for us and interactive (Princess/pirate) activity, I am not sure if they would appreciate the princess dress up.

    Hi Renee!

I have two boys, ages 12 and 7, who have been going to Walt Disney World since they were babies.  I realize boys are somewhat different than girls, but there favorite activities at those ages, besides just doing the attractions, were:
    • Visiting Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach
    • Going to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness
    • Going to Cirque de Soleil in Downtown Disney
    • Having breakfast or dinner at Chef Mickey's
    • Eating dinner in the San Angel Inn in the Mexican Pavilion in Epcot
    • Cane pole fishing at Port Orleans Riverside and Fort Wilderness
    • Dinner at the Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Epcot
    • Breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom
    • Dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge

With two young girls, I would suggest going to 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian for dinner and/or going to Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
