Hi Vanessa,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney today with your question about vacationing with your little one. I am happy to help you today!
Boy do I have good news for you! Many people are surprised by the number of attractions at Walt Disney World that do not have height requirements. There is literally something for everyone! Here is a link to
Attractions and Entertainment at Walt Disney World. Within the link you can select filters for which theme park you would like to view and then also the type of activities. For example, at Magic Kingdom Park there are many rides which do not have height restrictions such as
Peter Pan's Flight,
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,
Mad Tea Party,
Dumbo the Flying Elephant,
Haunted Mansion,
Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more!
Vanessa, I have more good news for you! Walt Disney World has a service called
Rider Switch that I think you might be interested in using during your vacation. Please read through the information in the previous link for all of the details. Essentially, if you and your partner would like to ride an attraction in which you cannot take your baby you can use this service. You should approach the Cast Member near the entrance and explain you would like to use Rider Switch. One adult will go on the ride while the other one remains with the baby. Then when the first adult comes back to stay with the baby, the second adult will be able to enter the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue. This can save so much time!
I love that you are going to be making such great memories with your baby's first visit. Did you know that Walt Disney World has
Baby Care Centers in each of the 4 theme parks? When my children were very young, I could always count on taking a break at one of these places to care for my baby. The Baby Care Centers are staffed with Cast Members, and you have access to a microwave, highchairs, and a private nursing area. You can even purchase some baby care items there if you need it.
I hope this information helps you with your planning Vanessa! Please come back and visit us again here at planDisney with all of your vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
