Hi Kathryn! Thanks so much for dropping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
How wonderful to have such generous in-laws willing to share their
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan entitlements with you!
Disney Dining Plans are non-transferable so you will not be able to use their credits if you are on your own. However, if you are dining with your in-laws, they can absolutely share their dining plan with you!
As I'm sure you know, everyone on their room reservation age three and older will receive three meals and two snacks each night of the stay. Your in-laws will let the server know how many people will be using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan each meal and will present the server or cashier with their
MagicBand. The dining plan is electronically linked to their reservation and keeping track of their remaining entitlements is very easy. They can check their dining receipts, ask the Resort Concierge or Guest Relations, or view the remaining credits on their My Disney Experience app. When you are dining together, a combination of dining credits and cash/room charge can be used. You and your in-laws will just need to let the server know how each person plans to pay for the meal.
I'm so excited for you. We have traveled with my parents as well as my in-laws many times. It's so wonderful to be able to make memories with them. Enjoy every magical moment!
Thanks for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
