Hi Christina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
is just around the corner! Soon you'll be dancing at the
Sail-Away Celebration with Captain Mickey and his friends. My favorite part of the Sail-Away Celebration is the countdown to the ship's horn signifying the start of the voyage to paradise!
The dining attire schedule is always subject to change, but here is an example of when you'll likely see your Cruise Casual, Pirate, Formal and Semi-Formal nights during your upcoming Caribbean cruise:
Night One: Cruise Casual
Night Two (at sea): Formal Night
Night Three (Cozumel): Cruise Casual
Night Four (Grand Cayman): Cruise Casual
Night Five (Falmouth): Pirate Night
Night Six (at sea): Semi-Formal
Night Seven (Castaway Cay): Cruise Casual
Formal Night is such a special night onboard! Although optional, Disney Cruise Line recommends dress pants with a jacket or suit for men and dresses or pantsuits for women. While sailing, I've seen everything from ball gowns and tuxedos to nice jeans and blouses (and everything in-between) on Formal Night. This night is also a great opportunity to get a professional photo taken of your entire family by the photographers onboard!
Even though my family has sailed on multiple Disney Cruises, I still like to reference the
Packing List for Disney Cruises just to make sure I'm not forgetting anything! Thanks so much for sailing by with your questions!
