Hi again, Sabrina! I’m glad you reached out to us here at planDisney with your questions ahead of your upcoming Disney Cruise vacation.
I know it can be hard to select an excursion with so many enticing options. I have sailed to Progreso, but have not sailed Concierge, so I reached out to my fellow planDisney Cruise Specialist,
JoVonn, for her advice. If the
Port Adventure you are looking for isn't listed once the
advance booking window has opened, that means it's likely not available. However, she did suggest calling the Concierge line directly with any specific questions you may have.
If you are looking to experience something unique with your travel party, consider booking a
private port adventure. That way you have the convenience and dependability of Disney service while still experiencing a one-of-a-kind event with your group. Once your cruise reservation is paid in full and your booking window opens, you can
submit a request and a Disney Cruise Line representative will connect with you to explore this opportunity.
One thing I appreciate about Disney Port Adventures is that they have been carefully curated and selected by Disney, so I know my family and I will see the very best of that port of call. I also have the peace of mind that we will make it back to the port well in advance of when the ship will depart. That being said, if the excursion ends early, you are more than welcome to get back on the ship at any time. I’ve even been known to disembark in Mexico just to pick up some vanilla and then turn around and get right back on the ship!
If you do return early, Senses Spa often offers specials on days when the ship is docked in port. Make sure to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the most up-to-date schedule for arrival and departure times, as well as any special offerings while in port.
I hope I’ve answered all your questions. If there’s anything else I can clarify, don’t hesitate to reach back out to me at
planDisney and I’ll do my very best to make sure this is your most magical vacation yet!
Bon voyage,
Sami
