My family and I (Total of 6 people 2 adults, 2 seniors and 2 kids 5 &4) will be going to WDW using the 4 day park hopper. Is there a discount for active first responders? We will be in Disney from April 3-6th 2017

    Hi, Victoria!

While there are no discounts that I am aware of for first responders, there are a few ways to save some money when visiting Walt Disney World.

-If you have a Chase Disney Visa, bring it with you on your vacation. See the website for a complete list of perks and discounts. There are even special meet and greets for cardholders.

-See if your local grocery or convenience store offers any perks for purchasing Disney Gift Cards. My grocery store offers fuel credits for gift card purchases which can really add up.

-Save money in other ways. In lieu of pricey bottled water, go to Quick Service location for free cups of ice water. Bring some snacks into the parks to munch on to avoid expensive snack items. You can also have food in your room - cereal or breakfast bars in the morning, maybe some muffins. Quick and easy!

-If you plan to use a stroller, bring one from home to avoid the daily stroller rental fees.

I hope you find some ways to save some money during your magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
