Hi, there!
Kari, I'm so happy to hear you'll be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days. And with a big family! You're sure to have BIG fun as you experience
The World's Most Magical Celebration together.
You ask an excellent question. Guests are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages into the theme parks. As a mom of three, I always pack a small cooler with snacks and drinks before we head out for pixie-dusted adventures. The last thing I need on my hands is a "hangry" kiddo! Not knowing which YETI Hopper Cooler you have, I can't be sure if it will be permitted in the theme parks.
Coolers, bags, and backpacks must be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Before your pack your YETI Hopper Cooler, take a few minutes to measure it so you can be sure that it meets the size requirements.
It's important to note that loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks. I recommend taking reusable ice packs along with you or some Ziploc bags. I always pack an entire box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags for our Disney vacations. They come in handy for all sorts of reasons, but I especially like to use them to keep our snacks and drinks nice and cold. I fill a Ziploc bag with ice from the ice maker at our Disney Resorts Collection hotel and then toss it in our cooler before we leave our room.
My top tip for large travel parties is to purchase
Memory Maker before your arrival. With this
Disney PhotoPass product, everyone can get in on the shot!
I hope this was helpful, Kari. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
