me and my family are going 8/17/08-8/23/08 what time should we arrive at the chip n' dales campfire sing a long? Can we bring our own marshmallows etc.?

    Hi Amanda,

Yes, you can bring your own marshmallows.....I always do when I go there (I love to save money any way I can!).  During the summertime, the Campfire Sing-A-Long with Chip and Dale will first start with the lighting of the campfire at approximately 7:30pm.  My favorite two little chipmunks Chip and Dale will then make an appearance along with the campfire sing-a-long leader at about 8:00pm.  After you have had all of your fun singing and dancing with these two characters and their leader and eating your scrumptious roasted marshmallows, Smores and possibly hot dogs you will be in the dark and the show will begin between 8:30pm and 8:45pm.  On Fridays and Saturdays you will be able to experience a double feature...yayyy!!!!!  So, in answer to your question, if you would like to experience the very start of this grande evening celebration then I would arrive at least a half an hour before if not a little more than that in order to secure a good seat for one of the benches.  If you arrive later and there are no seats left, you can bring a blanket a park yourselves on the gravel (I find this a bit ouchy myself so I tend to be there early to get the bench seating!).  If you are there between 6:30 and 7:00pm you should be in luck!

    Have a magical day!
