We are a family of 5 with a tight budget. We are wanting to take our children on their first Disney trip. I am wanting to know if the Value Resort rooms have enough floor space to accommodate a single air mattress.

    Hi Janell,

How exciting to be planning your first Disney vacation for your family!

As a mom of 5, I understand your budget concerns and desire to find a way to find an affordable lodging option. Fire codes do not allow you to go over a predetermined number of guests per room. The standard rooms at the Value Resorts only allow 4 guests. Everyone has to be registered in the room in order to receive a park pass, dining credits, Extra Magic Hours access and more.

Port Orleans Riverside has rooms with a pull down wall bed. These are perfect for a smaller child. I suggest that you check the Special Offers page and take advantage of the 20-30% off summer stays offer. This would make it more affordable to stay at a moderate resort. You may also want to look at the Family Suites at the Value Resorts. That is another option for a family of 5.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
