Hi Luis! Thank you for swinging by planDisney with your question! I can imagine how excited you and your family must be for your upcoming visit to the
Most Magical Place On Earth. October is an excellent time to experience all the fall fun and festive decorations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I, too, enjoy the cooler temperatures and the smaller crowds that sometimes accompany the season, and I am counting down the days to my November visit!
To answer your question,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is indeed a special ticketed event at Magic Kingdom Park. If you don’t have a party ticket, you must exit the park at 6 p.m. when the event begins. Unfortunately, the remaining parties are currently sold out. However, there have been occasions when Disney has made additional tickets available at Guest Relations or the park entrance on the day of the event, so it might be worth checking when you arrive.
Since Magic Kingdom will close early to those without Halloween party tickets on October 24th, you may consider changing your plans to enjoy a full day at one of the other theme parks. I’d be remiss not to mention one of my favorite EPCOT festivals taking place during your visit, the
International Food & Wine Festival! However, if you decide to spend the day at Magic Kingdom, a great way to end your day would be to head to a nearby Disney Resorts Collection hotel for dinner. You could enjoy the delicious
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort, the flavors of
'Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or treat your family to an elegant meal at
Grand Floridian Café at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
I hope this helps you plan your perfect day. If you have any other questions,
I’m here to help!
Cheers,
Brent
