Welcome to planDisney, Trelise and Happy (early) Holidays!
How exciting that you'll be spending
Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resort! Everything from the sights, sounds and smells adds an extra layer of Magic that Olaf would say is
worth melting for.
Now, Trelise, let's talk about your
park hopping question! In theory, yes, adding the park hopper to your current ticket would allow you to visit
Magic Kingdom Park (after 2:00 PM) on Christmas day. However, please keep in mind that park hopping is
subject to availability and since Christmas is a very popular time to visit, it's possible that park hopping to Magic Kingdom Park won't be available on that day due to capacity.
It's also important to note that if you have a multi-day ticket and are planning to upgrade to the park hopper, you will need to upgrade all days of your ticket. So, for example, if you have a 4-day base ticket, all four days will change to a park hopper. This is important to note for budgeting and to make sure you upgrade prior to using the first day of your ticket.
Trelise, depending on your desire to see Cinderella Castle on Christmas day and your willingness to gamble, I hope this information has been helpful as you're making decisions. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney.
