My family of three is scheduled to stay at Old Key West, Vero Beach and Saratoga springs at the end of August. I'd like to know how much each load of coin-operated laundry costs at the resorts. I want to be prepared with enough quarters just in case. Thx!

Hi Rodolfo! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With 4 very active children laundry never takes a vacation for our family, which is why I LOVE our Disney Vacation Club villas...all 1 and 2 and 3 bedroom villas have a washer and dryer ready and waiting.

If you're not staying at a deluxe villa, no worries, laundry machines are available at all resorts and change machines are usually on site. Costs for operation and detergent vary so check with the front desk for specific prices and location.

For Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa the cost per load is $2.00 and a box of laundry detergent is $1.00. At Disney's Vero Beach use of laundry machines is free and laundry detergent is $1.00 - $2.00 a box.

When we head to Walt Disney World Resort, I always pack laundry detergent pods, they're super convenient and perfect for travel.

Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
