Hi Patricia,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I like your plan to head to Walt Disney World at a slightly less popular time of year, when you are likely to find fewer guests in the theme parks. Between early November and late January, I would choose early November for a trip. Let me share with you why.
In terms of weather, November will be slightly warmer than January. Both months will be quite comfortable, but in November the typical high temperature is about 79 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas in January it is about 72 degrees Fahrenheit. I like that little additional warmth in Florida!
I also like November for the special events at Walt Disney World at this time. This year, the
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival runs through November 13. This event includes kiosks with cuisine from around the globe around World Showcase, great culinary demonstrations, and much more. It is a do-not-miss for my family! Also, if you are there at the very beginning of November, you can head to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This fun, separately-ticketed event allows guests to trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom and to take in some wonderful holiday entertainment!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Patricia. Have a great time planning you magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions!
