My family is thinking of taking a cruise in June 2012. There is 2 adults and 3 children and they only option the online reservations is giving is the most expensive veranda. I thought we were allowed in the oceanview staterooms?!

Ahoy, Carrie! Indeed, the Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream will accommodate up to five guests per stateroom. On the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder the Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms will only accommodate up to four guests per cabin. If you are trying to book a cruise on the Magic or Wonder for a family of five, you can either book a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah, or two connecting staterooms in a lower category. If you are attempting to reserve a cruise on the Dream or Fantasy, the Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms must be completely sold out during your particular sailing. That would explain why the system is bumping you up to the next higher stateroom category, Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. I will recommend you try different dates to determine stateroom availability. Please contact (800) 951-3532 for more information on your particular itinerary. I'm sending Pixie Dust for your family to be able to experience a most memorable voyage with Disney Cruise Line!
