    Hello my family and I are thinking about staying at the Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge in September 2021. What are my options for transportation to the parks? Will the water taxi's be running at that time? Thank you Laura

    Welcome back to planDisney, Laura! 

    As a Disney Vacation Club Member whose "home" resort is Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I'm thrilled to talk with you about this property! Laura if you love the ambiance of the Pacific Northwest and want a quiet setting, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a great choice! You might even find yourself feeling closer to Walt Disney himself as his love of trains shines brightly at Boulder Ridge Villas. 

    Now, Laura, when you're ready to "change stations" from looking at trains to hopping aboard one like Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, you'll need to take Disney's bus transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios (in addition to EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park).

    If you're looking for a wilder ride, I recommend Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park. From Disney's Wilderness Lodge I'm happy to report you'll be able to take the water taxi which IS currently in service and transporting guests. Laura, there is certainly something special about arriving at Magic Kingdom Park by boat service and I hope you can relish in that trip should you decide to stay at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
