My family and I are thinking about going to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party this year but my concern is that at the time of going my son will be one and a half and i was wondering what rides can he actually go on.

    Welcome Casey!

I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. Bringing a baby to Walt Disney World can seem overwhelming at times, but I think you will find that there are plenty of ways to enjoy a magical evening at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with your little one!

Not only will you have plenty of Character Experiences to enjoy throughout the park, you won't want to miss the amazing holiday parade and of course, the Holiday Wishes fireworks show. The party is a great event with festive touches that will wow your little one throughout the park.

On top of that, you'll be able to enjoy many attractions together, like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "it's a small world", and Peter Pan's Flight to name a few.

Two resources that may help you plan are the Attractions page where you can search for age appropriate attractions and the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page where you can get sample itineraries and ideas for a great night at Magic Kingdom Park.

Some of my favorite Walt Disney World memories are from when my boys were babies. I think if you go with a plan and see the park through the eyes of your son, you'll have a magical time!

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Casey. Wishing you a jolly holiday!
