My family and I are thinking of doing a Disneyland trip in early July. This will be our first visit to California. We have been to Disney World many many times. How many days do you feel is good for visiting the park ? what are the temps at this time?

    Hi, Matthew!

I’m so excited to hear you’re considering making a trip to “The Happiest Place on Earth!" There's nothing like the rich history you'll experience at Disney's original theme park as you walk in the footsteps of Walt Disney himself. It’s a very special place with lots of unique attractions and shows to experience, especially since the expansions at Disney California Adventure Park were completed, including the opening of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street. I would recommend visiting for at least four days if it’s your first visit to the Disneyland Resort, especially considering July can be a busier month at the parks. You want to make sure you have enough time to experience everything the resort has to offer while still having time to relax and soak in that warm Southern California sun!

Summer days in Anaheim are typically warm, with highs in the mid-80s during the day and lows in the mid-60s at night. The marine layer and fog can linger until noon, but sun protection is still a necessity. Shorts and t-shirts are good for the daytime, but you’ll want to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt for the evenings. It’s also much less humid there than it is in Orlando.

I hope this information is helpful, Matthew. Please let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you as you plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
