Ahoy, Jessica!
I'm so happy to hear you're thinking about sailing with Disney Cruise Line! Don't worry about feeling "lost" - I felt the same way when planning our first cruise, but Disney makes it so easy for first-time cruisers. In my opinion, you've chosen the best cruise line on the seven seas!
You'll be happy to know that most all of your vacation needs are included in the "all-inclusive" cruise fare! Meals, snacks, Broadway-style stage shows, movies, deck parties, Youth Clubs, soft drinks (at meals and the Beverage Station), Room Service, and ports of call are all included. Your days will be filled with fun activities and delicious meals, all included in the price of the cruise!
Here's a list of a few things that are not included in the cruise fare:
-Alcoholic Beverages
-Smoothies and Specialty Coffee Drinks
-Spa Treatments
-Port Adventures
-Internet packages
-Adult Dining at Palo or Remy
-Photos
-Childcare for kids under 3
-Gratuities
Any "extras" will be charged to your onboard stateroom account, and paid for at the end of your sailing.
Asking which ship is the best is like asking which child I love the most! I love all the ships in the Disney fleet, and no matter which you choose, you can't go wrong! My advice is to look at the sailing dates and itineraries which appeal to you, then go from there when deciding which ship you'll sail on. If you have boys, you might want to consider the Disney Magic. With the addition of MARVEL's Avengers Academy in the
Oceaneer Club, it's every boy's dream!
Please let me know if you have any more questions as you begin planning - hope to see you sailing with Captain Mickey real soon! - Diane W.
