Hi there, Rosel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad to hEAR you are considering heading out on an adventure at sea with my favorite Captain…Captain Mickey! Your children are at the perfect ages to really enjoy everything that a Disney Cruise Line which will create some WONDERful memories for you! We have been sailing with my boys since they were both under one, and it keeps getting better the older they get!
I was so excited to see the
newest schedule and itineraries released for early 2020! While I have not sailed a Baja itinerary, my family is heading out on a similar itinerary next Spring and I can’t wait! And the Disney Wonder is one of my favorite ships – mainly because it’s home to Tiana’s Place, where I can get my hands on some beignets and the most delicious bread pudding! My family also absolutely loves “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular”, which is simply SPECTACULAR! So, I think you are considering a perfect itinerary for your first Disney Cruise Line experience!
When it comes to stateroom selection and are concerned about movement my recommendation on the Disney Wonder would be to look for something midship and mid-level (like Deck 6). The ships are large, and movement is typically minimal, but there may be times that you do feel the ship moving and being midship will minimize that. Another plus to that area of the ship is that you will have easy access to the different venues on the ship. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the
deck plans prior to embarking!
Once you’ve booked your Disney Cruise Line vacation, please come back with any planning questions you may have!
Happy Planning!
