My family and I are thinking of going to Disney during the wine and food festival. In your opinion, what are the best events for that festival? Are there good dinners and parties? What is your favorite?

Hi Amy!  It just so happens that the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is one of my favorite visits throughout the year to Walt Disney World.  I have learned a lot and met many wonderful new friends from this event and it is also great FUN!

You can see a wonderful over-view of the many events by going to the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com or by clicking HERE.  There are many type of events from simple pairings at several of the restaurants to elaborate Signature Dinners at some of Disney's finest locations such as Victoria and Alberts at the Grand Floridian resort.  You can meet guest chefs and master sommeliers from around the world.  Most of these type of events do cost extra but there is a lot to do as well that does not require added cost beyond the EPCOT park ticket.

Without a doubt my families favorite event for the Food and Wine Festival is the Party For the Senses held almost every Saturday night.  It is a night of wonderful grazing of culinary delights and superb samplings of some of the finest wines of the world.  Your admission ticket is all you need and then its up to you when to stop!  Many famous chefs such as Cat Cora have made a stop here to cook during their Festival appearances.

I hope you are able to enjoy the festival this year as well!
