Hi! My family and I are thinking about the Disney Dining Plan and I am wondering if we have to stay at one of the Resorts or Hotels to purchase one of the plans?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dominique!

Disney Dining Plans are only available to Guests with Magic Your Way vacation package reservations at select on-site Walt Disney World Resort hotels. This would exclude any reservations booked for the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort, Shades of Green, the Disney Springs™ Resort Area Hotels, the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotels, all International Drive Orlando area hotels, and non-Disney-owned-and-operated hotels or accommodations in the vicinity. In my opinion, the ability to add a Disney dining plan to your resort reservation is one of the greatest benefits of staying at Disney Resort hotels.

All the above being said, you may purchase Quick Service Dining Cards when staying at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Disney Springs™ Resort Area Hotels and Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotels.

Disney Mom Tip: Be sure to make dining reservations for Table-Service restaurants 180 days in advance of your visit. You can even do this using your smart phone after installing the My Disney Experience mobile app on your mobile device.

Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
