My family is thinking of coming to Disney World the middle of October. Is it still warm enough for the kids to go in the pool. Also how are the crowds this time of the year.

    Hi Rose,

I love coming to Walt Disney World in October.  It is my favorite time of the year.  The weather is perfect with highs in the mid 80's and lows in the mid 60's.  My kids will swim in any weather it seems, but even I would take a dip in the pool when the temperature is 85 degrees!  The crowds are generally lower since most children are in schools.  It does get busier around Halloween.  Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a fantastic event that my family tries to attend every year.  It is so much fun to dress up in costume (adults too) and trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom.  You will see the characters dressed up and most of the attractions are open all night.  The special Halloween parade is amazing and be sure not to miss the start.  Perhaps you will see the Headless Horseman.  The fireworks are Halloween themed and not to be missed!  I know you will love coming to Walt Disney World in October, Rose!.
