Hello , Me and family thinking bout taken a trip to Disney in May 2017. I wondering can I start planning my trip?. Like booking the resort and reserved characters dining or I have to wait until come out with the 2017 prices?

    Hi, Kim!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

May is a fabulous time to visit Walt Disney World. The weather is not too hot, and the crowds are typically small before Memorial Day weekend.

Currently, guests are only able to book vacation until the end of 2016, with the anticipation of the 2017 dates to be available very soon. Based on years past, the May 2017 dates should be open for booking by the end of the summer or first of the fall, but this is no guarantee. So, be sure to visit www.disneyworld.disney.go.com or The Disney Parks Blog to stay informed about upcoming events and plans for the Spring and Summer of 2017.

For your Advanced Dining Reservations, ADRs, they won't be available until 180 days until your planned visit. So with your planned dates being in May 2017, you won't be able to make reservations until November or December 2016.

In the meantime, compare the Walt Disney World Resorts that you think will be best for your family and visit with us again soon! We're more than happy to help you plan your Disney getaway!

    Thanks for stopping by!
