Our family is very thankful for the DAC for our 2 child on the Autism Spectrum. Can the pass still be used during MNSSHP?

    Hi Morgan,

I'm so excited that you'll get to experience Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year! Did you see that the Disney Parks Blog recently announced several new delightfully eerie experiences for this year's event? They sure seem frighteningly fun, and I hope you'll be able to enjoy them!

As the mama of a kiddo on the autism spectrum myself, I completely understand how the Disability Access Service is such a blessing! Since this service is only available during normal operating hours when the FastPass+ queue is in service, unfortunately the Disability Access Service is not available during special events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The good news is that lines are generally much shorter during these types of events, and in my experience, there hasn't been a need for the Disability Access Service because regular standby lines seem to be pretty comparable to a FastPass+ line during regular operating hours. Guest Relations will still be open, though, so if you find that your Mouseketeer is having trouble, I'd encourage you to stop by there and see if they have any suggestions about quiet places for sensory breaks or ways to help him feel more comfortable.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with your great question, Morgan, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a spooktacular experience at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and a truly magical vacation!
