We are a family of 10 (3 teens, 5 young adults & 2 wiser adults), some will be going to DL for the first time, so we want to make it extra special for them especially for the shows & parades. How early should we find a spot before the shows- 1hr?

    Hi there Ashlyn,

The shows and parades can definitely be a fantastic highlight to a magical day the Disneyland Resort!  As far as parades are concerned, at Disneyland Park, I recommend arriving about 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time to snag the best spot!  My favorite viewing location for Mickey's Soundsational Parade is in town square near the Disneyland Railroad Platform.

Over at California Adventure, 30 minutes early should be sufficient to grab a great viewing spot for the Pixar Play Parade!  My favorite viewing area in on Buena Vista Street in front of the Carthay Circle Restaurant!

For the best view of World of Color, I highly recommend considering either a World of Color Picnic or World of Color Dining Package to be sure to secure the best possible view of the show.  With the World of Color Dining Packages, you'll only need to arrive about 15 minutes prior to showtime which means more time for you to enjoy the park!

    Best Wishes,
