We are a family of 5 (3 teens). We'd like to stay at the Yacht Club in 1 room. How big/comfortable is the daybed? Would a 17 yr. old -- 5'8" tall/145#. -- be able to sleep on it?

    Hello James,

The daybeds are essentially the size of a twin bed.  When we stayed at the Yacht Club, my oldest son (he would have been similar in size to your son at that time) had no trouble sleeping in the daybed.

You can see photos of the daybed by clicking here and looking at the View Photos link included with each of the rooms.  However, please keep in mind the daybed may not look as big because of all the large pillow on it.

Enjoy the resort and especially Stormalong Bay!  And if you want to know a little secret, when you use the resort's elevators notice there are four of them.  However, one is just there for looks to keep things symmetrical. You can also look for the Hidden Mickey on the large globe in the lobby.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again.
