My family and I are taking a trip this summer to celebrate my son’s high school graduation and I would love to add an in room celebration package for our room. Who provides that service and how exactly does it work out?

    Salutations, Sonia.

Welcome to planDisney! First, let me extend the biggest congratulations on your son's upcoming high school graduation! What an exciting time this is for all of your family. You must be one proud Momma Mouse!

My own family has taken countless celebratory trips over the years for everything from birthdays to retirements, engagements, and more. After all, Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate momentous occasions such as these! I'm glad you asked about how to make your son's special trip even more magical. When my husband graduated with his master's degree a few years ago after a long, arduous journey, I wanted to surprise him with something extra special on our trip too. That's when I turned to Disney Floral & Gifts.

Disney Floral & Gifts is a service available to Guests who want to celebrate a special occasion in an unforgettable way. The Cast Members in this department, known as Dream Makers, have more than enough pixie dust to go around to make your celebration dreams come true. They can create floral arrangements, themed gift baskets, balloon bouquets, and more that will be delivered to the recipient's Disney Resorts Collection hotel on the date of your choosing.

You can first peruse their website for available options. Gift experiences change from time to time, so while I don't see graduation-specific products being offered right now, it's likely there will be graduation options added at a later date. Just keep checking back periodically. When you go to order online, you are able to input the recipient's name, date you want the delivery to take place, and the Disney Resorts Collection hotel they will be staying at on the date of delivery. Then, all you have to do is complete the checkout process and leave the rest to the Dream Makers.

If, however, you want a more personalized gift for your son, you can always call 407-939-4438 and speak directly to a Dream Maker. They should be able to help you navigate the process and make your son's graduation surprise dreams come true.

Don't forget to get an "I'm Celebrating" button for your son to wear proudly throughout your trip so everyone knows of his outstanding accomplishment. The buttons are complimentary and can be found at your Resort's Front Desk or at Guest Relations and most merchandise locations in the theme parks.

Sonia, I hope this information helps you on your quest to make your son's graduation trip beyond memorable. Cherish every magical moment and memory on your trip.

Tomorrow is just a dream away,
