Hello!!! My family will be taking a trip here shortly and I will have four young adults with us. If I have my cc linked to their magic band, is there a way I can monitor their spending while there so they don't "overdo" it?

Hi, Kim thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. With young adults keeping tabs on them is important. We have two teenagers and let them go on a journey through the resort for dessert while the parents went on a Disney date. Which I highly recommend.

The My Disney Experience App is the ultimate tool while vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort. It houses the free-to-use Disney's Genie Service which will guide you on a tailored itinerary for your planned park days. It will base those suggestions on the attractions, dining, and entertainment you select as interests. The best part about this tool is everyone in the family can use it. From wait times, what time the next parade down Main Street U.S.A. is, menus for food locations, or the nearest restroom to the Haunted Mansion. This app can do it all, my personal favorite is Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering. This will allow you to order ahead and not have to wait in a typical line. My family likes to check out what we want while we are on line for an attraction, then set a time when we think we will be finished. It's usually ready and waiting when we arrive. If you are staying at one of the many Disney Resorts Collection Hotels you can charge to your hotel account by using a MagicBand+ or Key to the World. You will want to set this up during check-in and you can use a PIN for these purchases. Each night you can check with the front desk to see what kind of charges are totaled. You will also receive an email with each purchase so you can keep track easily with Mobile Food Ordering.

You mentioned visiting shortly and I have to mention the fan-favorite Happily Ever After returning on April 3, 2023. This fireworks extravaganza will be lighting up the Magic Kingdom Park skies again in just a couple of days. I hope this information helped with being able to let the young adults roam free without having the worry of "overdoing" it. If you have any other questions don't be shy please stop back to visit us anytime at planDisney.com.

    See ya real soon,
