My family and I are taking a trip to the Magic Kingdom in a couple weeks. I was trying to find out what the best viewing location for the firework show is. We did the fast pass + on it and it has us in the Rose Garden. We also want to see the light parade!

    Hi Shealyn,

Hooray for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts! I hope you have a magical time and are getting excited!

The Rose Garden is a great place to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Located between Cinderella Castle and the entrance to Tomorrowland, it is a great location to watch the fireworks. I also love watching in Fantasyland by Gaston's Tavern or in Frontierland. However, my new favorite spot is on the beach of the Polynesian Village Resort. The music is piped in on the beach and you get the full view of the fireworks.

As for the Electric Light Parade, it might be hard from this location. It would not be the best viewing area. I like by Sleepy Hollow (another fun spot to watch the fireworks) as it is on the route.

With the changes in FastPass+, you might want to reconsider using a FastPass+ on fireworks. With the new FastPass+ policy, you can use one continuous FastPass+ after your last scheduled FastPass+ time expires. This means you can schedule other rides and attractions using the FastPass+ without waiting on lines. However, if you keep the FastPass+ for the fireworks, you would not be able to take advantage of this until after the show.

If I was touring, I would just find a spot for the fireworks and use my FastPass+ on an attraction or a character greeting. This would save me the most time while touring.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
