My family and I are taking a trip to Disneyland at the end of May and we really want to eat at The Blue Bayou. Do I need to include my 1 year old in the dining reservations I make?

    Hi Leandra,
I think you're making a fantastic choice by planning to dine at the Blue Bayou Restaurant!
It's a perfect place for little ones to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. If you order a specialty drink, I'd say go for one with a glow cube which tends to entertain kids for hours!
When you make your reservation, you should definitely include your 1-year old as part of your reservation even if you don't plan on ordering food from the Blue Bayou Menu for him or her.
I say this because Disney Cast members need to make adequate seating accommodations and plan ahead for the guests expected to arrive on the day of your reservation.
Once you get to the restaurant, your host will be aware that there's a little one in your party and he or she will secure a high chair for your table if you need one.
If I may make a suggestion, the classic Le Special de Montecristo Sandwich is worth every savory bite! It's a Turkey, Ham, and Swiss, battered and fried to golden brown, served with a Fruit Skewer, Berry Jam, and Crème Anglaise.
Now I'm having Blue Bayou dinner cravings!
Have a Magical Time at the Disneyland Resort and thanks for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
    We're always here to help!
