Hi Carol,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! Your Disneyland vacation is almost here! I can practically smell the gingerbread and candy canes already!
When guests purchase a Disneyland Resort ticket or a
Park Hopper ticket, they make a reservation for the park they plan to visit or start their day in. When I checked the
Park Reservation Availability Calendar today, I noticed that for December 7th, park reservations at Disneyland are currently unavailable. I recommend swapping your family’s reservations to Disney California Adventure so you can all enjoy the day together.
Your second option is to upgrade your tickets to Park Hopper tickets. You’ll still begin your day at Disney California Adventure, but you can start switching between parks beginning at 11:00 AM.
I know that might sound like a bit of a bibbidi-bobbidi bummer, but don’t let that get you down! Plans change all the time, and reservations can open up, especially in the week and days leading up to your visit. Keep checking back to see if any Disneyland park reservations become available.
Before you hit the parks, make sure you check out everything coming for the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The Disney Parks Blog is the best place to find the latest information about what will be
available for the season. There are so many
seasonal characters to see and
festive holiday foods to try. I hope you’ll be able to hop over to California Adventure to check out the
Festival of Holidays. Be sure to browse the
Disney Parks Foodie Guide to see which yummy options catch your eye. I am looking forward to trying the Cookie Dough Yule Log.
I hope this information helps, Carol! If you have any other questions or need extra planning tips, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always happy to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your Disney planning.
Best of luck!
