My family is taking a trip to Disney in September 2018. My daughters love Moana. Will she have a meet and greet at any of the parks?

    Hi Maria!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. September is a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World Resort because the crowds are often lower than the summer crowds and the weather is still wonderfully warm so you can enjoy plenty of time at the pool and the water parks. Moana is one of my family's favorite Disney movies, just like your family, and so I'm guessing your daughters know all of the words to all of the songs in the movies just like your little ones!

Currently, Moana does not have a regularly scheduled Character Experience at Walt Disney World Resort. However, the Disney Imagineers are always working on new experiences to bring to the theme parks for Guests to enjoy. Also, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party generally includes special Character Experiences. While the details and dates for this year's party have not yet been released, it is possible that she could be making appearances at the party, which could be an opportunity for your daughters to meet her if it works with your trip schedule.  So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for information about new experiences headed to the theme parks in time for your trip, as well as details about this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue your planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
