my family of 22 are taking a land and sea cruise in two weeks.when i planned our air flights i did not realize we would be disembarking at 7 am. our flight is 3:53 pm.i have several grandchildren under 8yrs. old. should i rescedule our flight home or do

Re-scheduling your flight at this late date would most likely incur fees which with such a large group could be very costly.

On the morning of disembarkation, you'll need to be out of your stateroom by about 8:00 a.m. and off the ship around 9:00 a.m.

If you are taking Disney Cruise Line ground transfers to the airport, you'll be in transit for about an hour.

You'll want to be at the airport approximately 2 hours ahead of your flight time. Sometimes the security line can be short and other times it can be backed up by an hour so plan accordingly.

Usually after disembarking a cruise, guests are exhausted. If you arrive at the airport, plan a nice sit down lunch at one of the restaurants. Travel day can be tiring and a good meal before heading to your gate is a nice way to wrap up your vacation.

If you are taking your own transportation to the airport, consider nearby Kennedy Space Center for a quick visit although it would be difficult to do it justice in just a few hours. The bus tour only lasts 1.5 hours though!

I wish your family a memorable vacation filled with magical moments!
