Our family of 7 is taking its first WDW trip in June 2012 with the oldest going being 49 and youngest 14 years old. Are there any resorts that are "teen" friendly? Also which parks would be a must for those teenage thrill seekers? Thanks for the

    Hello Chrystal!

If I had to choose, I would pick any of the resorts around Crescent Lake: Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts or Disney's Boardwalk Inn.  The BoardWalk Area is great for strolling around at night, grabbing some yummy snacks, and checking out the performers.  For your teens, these resorts also offer quick access to my favorite park for thrill-seekers: Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park (DHS).  Here your teens can scream until their hearts content on Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith or check in to the Hollywood Tower Hotel at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  Both Epcot and DHS are either a boat ride or walk away from any of the resorts I mentioned above.

Your daredevils will also love tackling the Magic Kingdom Park mountain range (Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Splash Mountain) as well as scaling Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, Chrystal!
