    My family and I will be taking our very first trip to WDW this summer. Will be staying for 6 days but have only budgeted for 3 day base tickets.Will we still be able to get into our hotel rooms on site if we have used up our 3 days before our stay is over?

    Hi Misty!

    You have a great question.  Simply put, the answer is yes!  I am constantly amazed at the technology at Walt Disney World.  Since you will be staying on-site you will have everything on your Magic Band.  Your resort hotel dates are linked to the dates in which you have reserved in your vacation package. 

    Recently my husband and I had a "couples" weekend and we bought a Magic Your Way vacation package with 2 day park tickets for a 4 night stay.  I really enjoyed doing some other types of recreation which included one day just sitting by the pool. 

    Don't forget, if you would like to add on a day or two to your "park tickets" while you are there you can do that as well.
