Hi Kimberly,
As you have found, there is so much to do at Walt Disney World. The good news is that there is something for everyone! As such, it is hard to come up with a list of specific "must do" attractions and experiences without knowing about your unique family's individual preferences and personalities; however, let me give you some advice on where I would start your planning.
First, be sure to order the
free Walt Disney World planning DVD. You can watch it to start to get an idea of the various attractions at Walt Disney World. Your older child can probably give you some input on what is interesting to her. Also with your older child, consider making
customized maps of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Using this website, you can choose attractions that are particularly interesting for her, put them on maps, and have them delivered right to your door!
I think that there is something for everyone at all four theme parks, so I would suggest that you plan one day at each park. Then, depending on your children's interests, you can choose which theme park to visit for a second day. One more thought for you - you are going to Walt Disney World at a wonderful time of year, when it will be all decked out for the winter holidays. Although dates for this year have not yet been announced, you might want to take at look at attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which is a fun holiday event with special entertainment.
I would love to help you plan more Kimberly; however, I am limited in the amount of space that I have to answer. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
