Hello, my family and I are taking our first trip to Disney World. We are staying at a value Resort from 12/25/11-1/01/12. I heard that the temperature is not too cold in Fl. I was wondering if the resort pools are open and okay to swim in during this time?

Hi Alejandro, All of the pools at the WDW Resorts are heated so you can swim in them all year long. You may experience nice warm temperatures or you may have freezing cold weather (like I experienced this past December). I like to brave it and go swimming even in the coldest of temperatures , but I must admit after trying to swim in the pool this past December that after just one day of trying it, it was so brutally cold that even I did not attempt it for the rest of that trip! It was so cold that they actually closed the Water Park in Disney as well. So it could be unseasonably cold like this or you may be lucky and get normal temperatures. I wish you luck in having nice, warm weather on your upcoming trip so you can enjoy the pools. Best wishes, Brigitta
