    Hello, My family is taking their first Disney trip this year. We are arriving Sept. 29th and leaving Oct 6th. My children are 3 and 5 yrs. old. Any suggestions as to what days to visit each park?We definitly want to do Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party.

    Hi Alyssa,

    Congratulations on taking your first trip to Walt Disney World!  You have picked a perfect time of the year to visit.   I am so happy to hear that your will be going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  Keep checking back to the website as the dates haven't been released yet.  I would suggest you purchase your ticket prior to coming to the park.  The party is from 7 pm to Midnight with Trick-or-Treating in the Magic Kingdom and a special "Boo to You" parade and fireworks.   In planning my days out, I usually will consult the Park Hours site to see when the Extra Magic Hours available to you if you are staying on Walt Disney World property.  For instance, on October 3rd at Epcot has additional hours from 9 pm to Midnight. Hollywood Studios is open on September 30th until 11 pm.  I usually will lay it all out to decide on what days to go to which park.  After this, I will then decide on what restaurants we want to eat at.  You are able to make Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to the start of your vacation.  I want you to order your free Walt Disney World Planning DVD.   Please send me a follow up question if i can help your further in your planning or suggestions for dining.  I know you will have a magical vacation, Alyssa!
