    My family and I are taking our first Disney Trip in 27 days! We have reservations in CBR with the Pirate Themed rooms.My MIL heard that anyone over 6' tall (like my hubby) would be uncomfortable in the pirate beds because they're too short? Is that true?

    Hi Kathy,

    Look at the photos of the rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort here.  You'll notice that the beds in the pirate themed rooms do have a footboard on them.  While the mattresses are no shorter in these rooms than in the non-pirate themed rooms, taller individuals might appreciate not having the footboard on the bed.  If that is the case with your husband, you may want to call the resort to change your reservation to a non-pirate themed room. 

    Whichever type of room you choose, you're really going to love this tropical paradise.  It's a truly lovely resort!  Have a magical time.
